e32 Autobox problems..

Went to start the 7 today (92 K m60 v8)

Been sitting for about 4 weeks.

Turned the key and got a "TRANS PROGRAM" warning on the dash..

Car wont even turn over, but battery tests ok.

Have tried the selector in both P and N positions, no change.

No fluid leaks under the car from the gearbox..

Could it be the box ECU needing reset?

They have voltage sensors ..when gets low the trans prog appears on dash

On the other hand neil the car is prob knackered

I will come up and tow it away for you ,get it out your road

your obviously far to busy fixing the tourer to have any more hassle/heartache

Yeah I think I might be in the middle of getting one tho

and yours will be to late...not 100% sure yet

and will prob cost me more than you paid for the car

Yep

I think its only my torque converter thats fubar'd but cant get one without the other
Still driving great ..just a bit noisey and has ATF leak -
