Should I stay well clear away from these? I need a car for a bit and seen one around for about a £1000 with all the toys - has 120 000 on it.
What problems to they have is £1000 to much?
Does the N word feature with these engines?

Hmm they go for that little! Well if I can cut the price and make sure it has Nikasil receipts then I might...but I suppose if they if it is going to have engine problems it would have had them?
You like yours don't you - apart from the fuel issue....

fairly nippy, 32mpog on a run, but 15 round town.
long rear diff and 5 spd autobox makes for comfy cruising but surprising shift downs.
great fun in the snow

This one sounds as smooth as silk, no throttle or anything to start it. Idles perfectly.
Its black with leather and working A/C is that makes any difference in the price, or do they all have this?

I do about 6000 miles a year, so not bothered about fuel consumption!
If I do get it I wont have it long enough to see some snow!
