advice on products

What should i use with carnauba wax? I have a tin of harleys and just curious if there are any products out there i should use with this wax?

What do you mean mate? Do you want to know about paintwork prep before you apply the wax or just what applicators you should use?

poorboys ssr - either 1, 2, 2.5 or 3.. use a glaze or a sealant before the wax though..

everyone and his dog will be here in a moment telling you to use meguiars or autoglym - if you are using decent carnauba wax then at least polish it with something decent first.

My car doesnt need a polish, it was c76jon's old sport.....the paintwork is like glass! So just buy some sealant, any recomendations? Also, does fairy liquid strip sealant?

Alot of people tel me to use fairy liquid to strip wax or my car and to use when claying. Then there is a few who tell me not to use it!

Whats should i use when claying/stripping wax of my car if i shouldnt use fairy liquid?

Actually washing up liquid will strip back wax and sealants very very well, it was recommended to me by some car detailing gurus.

The salt content makes no odds as long as you don't over use washing up liquid (ie wash with it every week) and as long as you rinse it thoroughly afterwards.

Sonus fine detailing clay- Incase the tar remover doesnt work
Chemical guys factory sealant

Will big and tar remover, strip wax of my car?

Answer is yes, but possibly not evenly.

I always go there when in doubt, same as here really you get a few conflicting answers but all the regular posters there have a million times more knowledge than me at detailing cars, its what they are passionate about.
