E30 Convertible insurance

Tried to get the convertible insured this morning through day insure.com and they declined me becasue the car was manufactured before 1993.

where can i get my convertible insured for 7 days at a decent price?

any websites and contacts appreciated.

Blimey, something must of changed recently...

Funny though that I just tried it with my touring and they quoted, although the car is a 1992 car....

Some one might be tempted to take out a on-line insurance, then use the 14 day cancellation period available...

Speak to one of the big players, like Direct Line or Norwich Union, they should cater for this. Alternatively, your present insurer for other vehicles may be inclinded to provide some customer service to existing customers and help you out.

add asecond temperory car to your current insurance policy, i insured 2 days for 10£, (considering my yearly premium is 850, this is not too bad!)
