I have an 88 325I Cab, and when i took the stock stereo out it only had about 6 wires. In my 93 Primera (G20) It had a couple stock amps that drove the stock speakers. Is it the same way in this car as well? If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Sorry for such a n00b question, just trying to make everything nice.

bmw fitted a single amplifier in some e30s i believe. the standard wiring colours are easily decoded for you if you post them.
