I was in Bridges Breakers at Pease Pottage (M23 services) last Saturday 26th May and they had in their older cars yard a complete E28 M535i. Engine and gearbox were still in it, I think this model has the dog leg 1st? The interior was beige leather and was all there inc the recaros. The only thing missing was the wheels (but they've also got a mint set of 5 bolt 15" BBS's in the wheel shop). Thought this might be of interest if anyone's thinking of an engine upgrade.
