Snapped ARB mount
Moderator: martauto
Just had a thought, is it possible to get part of another e30 subframe welded on with it in situ (no suspension/control arms/tie rods bolted in atm)....
If so then

This will only be for 6 months before I swap engines and replace the whole subframe with a cleaned up/powder coated one.

I expect its the bit that 6 & 7 attach to. Mine snapped too. I just had a bit of metal welded on.
Correct 6 & 7 were gone as was the metal bracket plus the bush and the metal U, wondered what the metal banging sound was a couple of weeks ago... Cursed rust! Can't weld for shit so gonna have to give the mobile mechanic a call... Anyone recommend someone local to bournemouth, or anyone with a mig who would be willing to do it for beer tokens!

this happened on mine too. thought about welding but was told it would just happen again. i un bolted the motor, raised it up a bit on a trolley jack and swaped the whold subframe out. the power steer has to come out too and the whole thing was a pita. sorry to hear.
