Just to update the forums a little.

My monster (bitten off more than i could chew) project is again making pace.

after two years of work i am now continuing. and to kick it off, i re-seated the engine sunday to engine position3. It was in position 2, but there was no way i could get a radiator to fit. The pics we see simply dpon't tally up.

We didn't remove the engine going from pos 2>3.

we cut the back of the block (side angle piece sticking out proud of the bell housing on the gearbox), and after that, 30 minutes of gentle persuasion saw it back in.

It looks like i'm going to use the 325i radiator. I have a thinner 528 rad, but it doesnt save me much space, as the end caps are the same thickness.

What is the thinnest rad? and anyone have a pic with some dimensions. I really want to be using the 324td fan i have.

Next weekend we will be fabing the rad mounts, and connecting up the coolant hoses etc.

The suspension is finished, bar the front nearside, which needs the anti-roll bar finishing, and the new brakes piping in.

Cluich slave cylinder needs to be fitted.

The prop is with Chard's at the moment awaiting dimensions from me for shortening and balancing, but i won't get a chance to get over there this week. i need to get the "guibo" is it? rubber mount to them so they can progress.

The rest of the interior re-trim should be with me this week, if Classic Holdings actually stick to their word, following their 15 month re-trim!!!!!! (yes headache inducing!)/

Didnt have the camera with me, but i will get some pics up.

I am still stuck on a m3 front bumper re-enforcer (the long insert i think it is).

I need the mounts for fitting the m3 bumpers to the chrome bumper model etc, so any help appreciated. I can fab them but i really don;t want to!
