how hard are these to fit and wot sort of gains can i expect outta a standard 325i

Fitting requires the removal of the ECU from under the steering column. The ECU is then opened and it's then just a case of unplug the old chip and plug in the new one.
Gains are generally in between 5-10 bhp depending on the state of the engine and the state of tune it's currently in.
What you'll actually feel on the road is a more responsive engine with much improved midrange power and a much cleaner revving engine over 4000rpm. The power delivery will also be far smoother.
