congrats on the pass mate. i see your local (ish) to me, you up for the mids rolling road day on the 5th june?charlE30 wrote:passed with only a bit of welding around the F/O/S jacking point. I did cheat a bit as it's been off the road for the last week I fitted a complete Powerflex bush set front & rear (inc offset fr), drilled and grooved discs + fast road pads, new springs to take it from 60mm back upto 40mm, new control arms, ARB links, centre prop bearing, flexi disc, gearbox seals, gearshift selector, B&M short shifter and lastly a fuel tank!!! I started out with only the intention of doing the bushes but then I thought to myself while I've got it stripped I might aswell replace that and that and that etc.
The difference it has made to the way the car drives isto say the least, handles like it should- on rails. I'm finding myself making a 2 mile drive to work last 10 miles cause it just wants to go!!

I look foward to meeting you all at the meets when I've sorted out a couple of minor bodywork issues (don't want to be showed up by your mint BM's
)
