325 Clocks

i've recently put a 325 m20 engine in a 316 and the rev conuter doesn't work correctly. i've heard that a chip needs changing does anyone know which one it is?

The chip is found in the front of the instrument cluster, on the bottom right as you look at it. Remove the black plastic surround which is held in place by two screws going up into the top of the dash, and you will see it. It's white btw.
