Hi guys i have a leak into passenger footwell , all stripped out and have located few tiny holes into wheel arch , dried it all out and car has not moved , the footwell is wet again , at least half an inch of water !

As the car has not moved it cant have come from the wheel arch , it would appear to be coming from some place higher .

Are there any common places behind the ecu and glove box which leak for a passtime ?

All ideas appreciated , Rich

One common problem (a search should find plenty of previous posts on this if you need extra info) is the drain tube on the bulkhead under the bonnet. This should allow water to drain from the area at the bottom of winscreen where the vents are in to the engine bay, but this becomes blocked and allows water to make it's way in to the cabin. If you look in the engine bay on the bulkhead, you should see a rubber tube (some say it look like an elephants trunk!) pointing downwards. Just twist it a quarter of a turn and it will come off. Check it and clean it out if neccesary - this should at least help if it has become blocked.

Hope this helps!

On the o/s bulkhead there is a drain pipe (the elephants trunk),It may be blocked plus any cabeling going through bulkhead. Also at the fuse box.Check below scuttle panel for debris and check any gromets that you see are in place.I hope this helps.
