Could anyone tell me how the standard alarm (on a M3 cab) with the funny looking key is supposed to work and what the little LED at the back under the number plate is for and when it's supposed to be on? Thanks in advance, Aky.

I think you need to go the dealers to get a key for the door lock, its some sort of magnetic key that goes in there. Its probably best to bin it anyway and get an aftermarket alarm as the factory one seem quite easy to bypass.

Most of these I've come across are equally as easy!
