I'm thinking of changing the alloy wheels I have on my 1991 320i for BBS Cross Spokes, before doing so I was wondering if you could give me some advice re: wheel & tyre sizes ?
The alloys I have at the moment are 6J-14H2 with 195/65 R14 tyres. To replace these do I have to get exactly the same size BBS wheels or can I go slightly larger ?
Any help much appreciated...
Thanks
D.S.

Go for 15" BBS with 205/55/15`s,look sweet and just about perfect for an E30!

I changed from *edit* 6J 195/65/14 'bottletops' to *edit* 7J 15" BBS with 205/55 - the general improvement in handling was much more than expected - a very worthwhile step. Make sure you get original BMW BBS - they are very light and strong. See the picture below for the genuine markings.
Whereabouts are you in West Sussex? (we seem to be taking over the world with new members at the moment

the wheels in that ebay link appear to be 5-stud - you would have to do a conversion on a stock E30 which came in only 4-stud (except of course the M3)

nah ,he used 5 stud adapters due to the fact that porker alloys have silly offsets like 40 odd and 50 odd.
