How do all,
My 318is is currently running like a 3 legged pig. Its fine when absolutely cold but as soon as it warms up a bit it seems to be misfiring. Doesn't really matter what revs its at or throttle position. It had new plugs and air filter a couple of weeks ago and was fine until a few days ago. I think it might be the air flow meter so am looking around for one but don't know whether they are specific to the 318iS or if any e30 one will do. Had a look through the ETK but can't find it. Any advice or suggestions as to the cause of the problem most appreciated.

Oh yeah, its also running very rich. The plugs are filthy and there's an odour of petrol when I park up.

You might find an answer to your problems by searching the forums for 'blue temperature sensor' threads. You might find an even better answer if you look for 'blue temperature sensor' threads posted by 'Brianmoooore'.

Cheers lads, I'll get that blue temp sensor replaced then. Is it under the intake manifold?
