how do all,
i've got a 318is which i'm going to road rally an one of the mods i'm thinking of doing is to strengthen up the engine mounts. what i thought i'd do is to make a world cup cross member which you get for mk2 escorts and make one for my car instead out of a spare subframe i have. the upper engine mounts i'll fabricate from scratch out of steel and use a round polybush as the bush. i'm also going to do something with the gearbox mounts as that seems to move about an awful lot when the car is driven hard too anyone any suggestions/ experience with gearbox mounts?.
just wondered if anyones done anything similar or if anyone else would be interested in one after i made my own as a prototype?
