service light....??

my iS is approaching 180k and the service light just cum on, am realtively new to bmw's so wats the score??

is this a routine service interval, or is something up?? she runs good, no complaints from me.

as far as i know the light comes on every 12 months

Milage/Driving habits are also a factor........

Inspection light with clock symbol is just a 12 month timer.
Oil service lamp, with LEDs are mileage/driving conditions determined.
