Original BMW M5 wheels have a detachable centre (the throwing star bit) they are held on from behind by 5 spline drive bolts (which can often snap or round off when attempting to remove them ) . The council copies are a single piece casting. Make sure you carefully inspect the 5 spokes that the centre is bolted to as they are known for cracking through the bolt holes. A nice set with good tyres fetches about Ԛ£500 , a crap set with corroded centres, kerbed with crap tyres Ԛ£150 ish.
