hey guys just wondering if anyone off this site has done an sr20det conversion into their e30 there is a couple but i cant find any info on them :s

is that the engine from the 200sx?? if it is ANT seamed to know alot about what was needed when i was speeking to him. you could try PM'ing him

I looked into this. It really doesn't look too hard.
The exhaust/turbo is on the 'right' side for us RHD guys.
The gearbox fits nicely into the tunnel with only a simple mount and modded prop being required .
The wiring, though not childsplay, is fairly easy.
The engine mounts look simple to fabricate.
The diff on a 200sx is about 4.1 so there are suitable LSD's available (american M3 or tune it and use a sport 3.91 lsd)
Good source of scrapyard intercoolers for the E30 (volvo or saab I think they are)
Charge piping will need to be custom.
Gearbox linkage is custom (but simple, I think you just extend the 200sx one slightly)
There are a few done in Australia and a few in America. Try E30Tech.
