Hello!
Sorry to keep asking questions about my engine build, but here's another:
The rear crank oil seal had a paper gasket on it when I took the engine apart. I've just opened up the new seal set and there's a metal one in there.
Does anyone know if only certain engines (age related mabey) had these?
Also, do I need to put goo on it to make it seal?
Many thanks in advance!
Cheers!
Alex

The metal gasket is a revised version, the paper gasket is obsolete.
Put some sealant on it though
