Can anyone tell me which would be the best laquer to use for my rocker cover, ive sprayed the cover with VHT spray paint and it looks good, but i want to protect it by using laquer too.. i tried some before but it went all yellowy due to the heat and kinda melted away!!! is there a certain 1 i should be using?

my dad peeled the laquer off due to this but the paint will cope with the heat but wont look so good if you don't keep it polished
