170,000 mile old 325i engine

+ BTB manifold
+ exhaust system (Sebring?)
+ E30Zone wild chip

= 200bhp?

Or am I going to need a cam / other tuning to get that figure?

Its all just theory at the moment, because I'm having difficulty justifying buying a manifold that costs twice what I paid for the car

You need a high comp 2.7 to get close to 200 bhp.

£3000? +

The manifold is a real pain and swallows loads of money.

A 200 bhp 2.5 M20 will be quick but there will be little torque under 3000 rpm. After that it will go very very well!

Do the early h/c engines benefit more from the btb, chips and 6 branches than the later ones or
is it that they are slightly faster anyway?.
