You fit new lowered springs and your Touring sits higher!
Just shows how worn these E30s can get and still be OK to drive. Drives even better now though!

Now put new sport/M tech dampers and GSF lowered (35mm) springs on back too ( I only save the difficult jobs for you Ant
!).
Before the car was very soft and would crash through to the bump stops, now it rides better and is now very stable at 100 mph plus, can still feel the joint ridges in the road, but it doesn't "crash" over them. All that pitching and diving has gone, turn in and grip is much improved and the car feels very "planted" on the road.
The ride is firmer, but still comfortable. Money well spent.
