recently gone back to a genuine boysen middle box on my sport
just have one problem tho, where it goes under the axle it sits
really low and is catching on everything

has anyone ever cut the pipes and twisted them so it sits nearer the axle and further from the ground??

is this possible??

Some remove the middle box altogether...dunno how harsh this makes it for long distance drives though?

i have had to remove the middle box on mine to fit a cat into the system as it's on a K reg, it sound's nice when yor giving it some but on the motorway it becomes very boring and it still catches on speed hump's.

the only way to do it properly is to take the exhaust off completely and cut and weld it, but speaking from personnel experience it's easier said than done. Another option would be to raise the rear suspension slightly. The other problem is that there is a gap between the exhaust and the beam for a reason, if you move it closer to the beam there is a good possibility it,s going to start rattling against it which is ultra annoying.
