ive just dropped a 325 engine in, and by the oil filter there is a take off with 2 threaded holes, is this for an oil cool? if so where is the easiest and cheapes place to get one, with hoses banjos and all fitments.

and another thing aswell, ive fitted a tubular turbo manifold, and it fouls the oil filter, where is the easiest place to get hold og one of those sandwich plates to move the oil filter?????

Yes.

BMW use an odd size for their conections, so the pipes and cooler will be dealer only parts. I think someone on here has fitted an aftermarket cooler (Mocal I think) but not sure what was used.

You could remove the take off plate and fit the filter as per the 2.0 M20 without the oil cooler - thats how my 2.5 is running and its fine.

You might find spinning the oil filter around 180 degrees helps you with clearance, but depending what manifold it might not. Did i hear the word turbo?
