Hi all, recently joined. Great site, very informative.
Right, bought this off ebay recently:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %3AIT&rd=1
Planning on fitting it to LHD 325 (also off ebay) over the winter. Was just wondering why the majority of turbo conversions mount the turbo on top of the manifold as opposed to under as per my manifold? Is it just a space issue? I realise I'm going to have to lose the AC plus prob relocate the oil filter. Just interested in the mounting above versus mounting below scenario.
Also, any ideas where I can get an adjustable rising rate fuel press reg from? Plus, while I'm here, what's the best intercooler to use without having to hack the car around or relocate the oil cooler?
Cheers in advance

we use topmounts on RHD to get around the space issue dude, as yours is LHD that issue is sorted
for the RRFPR, I'd suggest ditching that idea and go MS or emerald ECU and do the job right 1st time, but the RRFPR is available , use the aeromotive unit if you must go down this route dude,
For intercooler, VOLVO 740/940 Turbo ( petrol 2.3l models ) and you o wrong tbh :ll:
welcome to the zone.

Thanks for that Ant. I initially want to get the thing up and running for as little dosh as possible in a low boost state which will then hopefuly give me the inspiration to ditch the std ECU and have a crack at it with MS or something.
Also, I keep reading about these metric blue head bolts. Any idea where I can get a set from?
Cheers.
