Where can I get info on the Alpina Version of the E30 M3. There is a White one in the auto trader. It has original alpina alloys but its a RHD conversion and he reckons it has a 2.3ltr engine in it. He is persistant its an alpina version so I need to print off the spec and bring it down to him. Oh and he wants Ԛ£10000. It has 75000 miles. Sounds expensive. Gratefull for any help cheers.

ALpina built 62 versions of the E30 m3. All were B6 3.5s, and fitted with the 3.5 engine. NO RHD cars and none with out this engine......... he's probably got an Alpina badge on the back..........that makes it a real one.....NOT :lol:

what a loser. people like that, that keep insisting when a) they know nothing, and b) get shown proof, need to be kneecapped and dragged by the balls through the streets behind a REAL alpina m3.

perhaps some drifting would be funny too, theyd swing out like people do when water skiing and the boat turns.

losers.

whats frightening is the fact that someone could be conned into paying 10k for what they will think is an alpina m3 :eek: :(

Bit like the guy who tried to sell me a genuine M5 , 315bhp with a 3.2 engine!! ADAMANT he was if i knew my BM's i'd know!!

3.6 = 315bhp
3.8 = 340 bhp

3.2 = M3 engine ????

Try this http://www.alpina-automobile.de/index.php
and go to model history.

The B6 was based on a normal E21 or a normal E30, the B6.S was based on the E30 M3.

maybe get the VIN and find out by calling alpina perhaps?

Just smile and walk away. If someone buys it thinking its an Alpina.

Tough, they should have done some research before paying out Ԛ£10K
