ok so i bought my e30 cab a year ago 4 weeks later my mate goes and buy exatly the same thing......now when i say the same i mean exactly the same car colour year etc.......so the race was on who could have their car looking better my mate rushed into buying an mtech 2 kit payed ower the odds for a coupe kit got a cheap job done again paid over the odds for fitting especially when the bodyshop used wood screws to fit the kit....i actually did the opposite with help from jc-bm got genuine cab skirts and got my brothor who works for rydale bodyshop to do a job im more than happy with...so iv got my car looking more or less the way i want now here is where i need some advice both cars are dropped 60mm yet my mates is decked he say's the rear anti link rods have been removed i want my car to have the same look feels like its on stilts compared to his whats the best thing to do to achieve this look will try post pics

Bollocks to your "mate" Only fools compete in such a fashion. To some, 60mm drop is "council", very uncomfortable to drive around in. Also with that sort of drop limiting the ability of the dampers, you will actualy reduce the quality of the handling.

If you really wanted to out do your mate, get a decent 40mm drop set up, some nice H&R ARB's, sparco strut brace, decent boots, zone chip, subtle stuff that isn't visual. Then out perfom him on a track or something. Obviously not on a public road as I couldn't condone that

Sorry rant over. Just seems a chronic waste of money to just out do "the joneses".

I'd be pi$$ed off no end if I had a mate like that. Certainly wouldn't be a mate I'd keep anyhoo.
