could some take a picture of where the icv is on a 316i please, i need to take mine off and clean it, and i havent got a clue where it is.

Look at the engine standing at the passenger wing, it's located under the inlet manifold at the right side of the inlet, where it comes close to the bulkhead, stick your hand under there and you will find it, it's held in place by a couple of clips and a hose, and just pulls out of the inlet.
