hood & stereo advice please...

hi all,

as winter dawns and we brace ourselves for more uncertain weather, i am seriously thinking about replacing my hood to safeguard the bitter frost. i have a couple of contacts who can do the job but i am not 100% confident as i have never seen their work, so i would like to ask if anyone can recommend a hood fitter who can do a good job at a reasonable price. i know they can usually travel but i am located around the manchester area so if anyone has had a job well done then please pass him on.

on an entirely different note, i have a pioneer stereo fitted in my cab but am not too happy about it. basically, it does'nt do half the things the manuel claims it should do, but worse of all, it came with a grey rim around the front and it looks so out of place against the black dash. you may say i m nit-picking but it does bug me. so if anyone knows of any stereos which fits in nicely into the dash then please let me know. make is not an issue but the budget would be under Ԛ£200.

the good news is the price has actually come down to 505+vat. but it has to be there at 8am to guarantee same day return, so i may have to check out the nearest travelodge...
