Power steering

Hi, I'm new to this website and new to E30's.

I'm collected my E30 this week - my first BMW and my first rwd car.

Quick question about them. Did all models come with power steering as standard?

I'm buying a 1987 2 door 320i this week soI'll be telling you all about it next weekend.

Also, one final thought. How much room is there in the footwell for heal and toe?

Plenty of room for my size eights, but the top hinged brake and bottom hinged throttle isn't ideal.
Power steering would have been an option on your car. My Glass's Guide says it was standard from September '88.
