Hi Guys, thinking about swapping brake pads on my 318iS over the next week or so, what type would anyone suggest?. I have no clue what's on now and also what discs I have though I know they're grooved and work fine so just planning on the pads for now.

Cheers

Ps. Also where would you suggest I buy them and a rough price would be appreciated.

Ferodo ds2500's are pretty awesome.

Zone shop for price.

Mintex also good and cheaper.

Depends on your driving.... for most normal use and even some enthusiastic driving the original BMW ones are actually fine. Performance ones take some time to warm up and so you could have a little accident when cold...

Otherwise I have been recommended ATE pads

I've got Mintex 1144 pads and am very happy with them. There's no problem with braking from cold, you only tend to get that with very high performance pads like the EBC Red Stuffs. I've used DS2500 before also and had no problems braking from cold although they do get better the more heat you put into them.

The Mintex 1144 cost me Ԛ£59.99.
