Maybe from the oil filter housing relief valve...there is a small O-ring that tends to perish and leak....an easy fix as you can unscrew it without much oil coming out...

replace with a new ring and job's a good 'un!

This is the thermostat for the oil cooler, not a relief valve. There's a small kit available from the dealer to sort it. IIRC, the replacement O ring is a different material and section, and needs the new cap that comes in the kit.
The M20 engine is notorious for oil leaks from just about every place that it can conceiviably leak oil from. If you want the fix, you'll have to narrow it down a bit.
AND PLEASE POST IN THE CORRECT FORUM!

Perhaps steam clean the engine bay first to narrow it down, then report back a more accurate position.

As brian said, the m20 leaks in all kinds of weird and franky not wonderful places.

The vertical breather under the inlet manifold on the passanger side is a prone spot for leaks due to the dreaded "O" rings.
