Hi there,
Anyone know what the likely ratio is on my diff?
It's a 325i cab from sept 86.

Thinking of changing to an LSD and don't know which ratio to look for.
And in snow .... would an LSD be better or worse ?

Thanks,

G

It's probably a 3.73:1 diff, it should be written on a tag attached to one of the rear cover bolts if it hasn't rusted to oblivion that is..

Dunno about the snow thing, tend not to drive in the stuff. I like my car the shape it is :)

I haven't found a tag so far ... looked a couple of times.
Isn't it onlt LSD's that have a tag ?
