starting from cold my iS can be dodgy on idle and has cutout couple of times.
thought it myt be a cold start valve type dealy but im new to beamers so thot you zoners myt know?? fuel pressure??

no cold start valve per se, but there's an ICV (idle control valve). to rule it out, simply unplug it. a diag would be the best place to start really, our cars have the most up-to-date motronic of the e30s and a proper diag can normally tell you what's up. I'd say coolant temp sensor would be a good place to start, mb even TPS.

does it idle funny wen warm as well or just wen cold? if it does it most the time check ur pipes for air leaks as these always rot
