Help: E30 - M50 swap - heater pipes!!

The top outlet for the heater matrix is so close to the inlet manifold we cant get the water pipe on... what have I done wrong??

Guys, any help in this one??? We've used M535i engine mounts and it all seems to sit ok...

I cut my heater pipes back almost flush with the bulkhead, and used a 90 degree rubber elbow on the now shorter pipe. Instead of having the hose clips on the engine side of the bulkhead, I put them under the dash. This leaves the rubber elbow right against the bulkhead and leaves plenty of clearance for the plenum.

If it aint broke - Modify it...
