can any one help me? I have a 92 318i convertible. with power steering. and when you turn the wheel lock to lock, mainy to the left, there is a loud groaning noise. any one know what is wrong with her? its really embarasing.

sounds like a pump noise. check the fluid level in the reservoir, and also check the belt isnt too tight

i will check that. it has loads of fluid, and a new rack. but maybe the belt is at fault. at least i hope thats all it is. hope the pump is ok. thankyou.
