hi, does anyone know where i can get hold of a 6 speed goerbox for my '94' 525i m50 that will bolt on. will be very handy for my motorway jaunts.

probably cheaper to swap the diff for something different.
There prob isn't a huge amount of difference in the final drive on the 6-sp and you'll pay through the nose for a box I reckon

yeah maybe its just that at 85-90 mph i am doing around 4000rpm and i would like to cut that down a bit especially in the mornings when the car is cold and i am near enough on to the motorway with in 5 mins, it feels like i am caining it too quickly- and i take the long way to the motorway!!!

5th gear 1.1
6th gear 1. 0.85
Will knock off about 500rpm!
