Help and advice needed guys.
Today my leccy sunroof developed a fault in that it will only open on tilt about 0.5". Closes OK with a good thump as it should and also operates correctly, if a bit slowly, on slide.
Motor going?
Runners need greasing?
Any ideas fellas?
Sickly Sunroof.

Come on guys, I know a sunroof isn't as interesting as engine or suspension mods, but it is an e30 and someone must have come across the problem before.

maybe a combination of dry runners/cables or the motors a bit tired
open the sunroof right back and clean/re grease up what you can get to, see if that makes a difference
