Which air filter?

Got an '88 316 carb (1766) with a webber 32/34 on it, there is not a great deal of clearance under the bonnet with this on, currently got a piperX foam filter on which gets squashed down by the bonnet (previous owner) What can i fir which will fit under the bonnet and stil give some nice induction noise? is there a K&N induction kit or similar?

If you want to try a K&N bolt on filter you need a code off the side of the carb (ie DMTL) then go to https://www.burtonpower.com/Default.aspx

i know its a ford specialist but they do a fair bit for weber carbs, from memory they do different heights of filter too.


Other than that its a standard air box with your choice of standard / replacement filter
