So gents

I have the 335i running well, the coolant needed alot of bleeding, but it´s fine again,

anyway I´m using a e28 535i rad and a aux fan on it, but when I do standing burnouts or drift sessions, it overheats or begins to,

are you using other fans or stronger ones?

Thanks
o yea, these M30 are awesome :)

Yeah, sounds like you need a bigger fan and make sure it's fitted snug to the rad to avoid air escaping from the sides rather than going through the rad core

i used a single citroen bx fan. i'm now using a thin kenlowe type on because there's less space with the IC installed, but it ain't as good. the citroen one blew bloody hard!

as Anday said, get it snug against the rad.

I'm using a Pug' 205 fan, but you will want some thing bigger for standing burnouts or drift sessions because your reving high with not much air speed i guess.

How hot does it get ?

The E32 fan is supossed to be good or the air con fan from an E30 with the mounting brackets would make an easy instalation.

The other thing that might be worth looking into is an oil temp gauge, i want one my self.

I have read some where that oil cooling can make up to 25-33% of the total engine cooling ?

I'm also thinking about getting an oil cooler but i'll wait and see what the oil temp gauge says first.

I was thinking about fitting an old cooler it cant do any harm. I am using the air con fan from an e32 but was looking at getting some thing a bit bigger like this but dont know what its from.

erm not sure what the situation with my paypal account it atm.. needs to be verified before i send anymore money thats for sure..

ive got pics of the exhaust now, but off to work in 15mins so not got time to host them right now

if you had both obviously i'd stick em in together..

only thing is id forgotten that it was a 323i single pipe silencer they'd put in the system so ideally you would have to fit your own twin pipe one if you see what i mean.. Obviously it will be cheap tho cause of that..
