Right, i ve already posted in the general e30 chat but i think its more suited in here.
Basically i need to know what the exact mechanical differences are between a 325i Sport and a non-sport. There doesnt seem to be any threads that come up on the search so maybe this could be made sticky so that others can easily find it.
So far i have the following. The sport has:
LSD
shorter ratio gearbox
anything else mechanical?
325i sport & non sport differences

ah ok that seems to have done the trick
right... the M-tech suspension found on sports. Is that just the spings and shocks that are different or is it anti roll bars, bushes etc aswel?

The Mtech stuff is just springs and shocks AFAIK. The anti roll bars are the same on all 325i I think.

So the motor is exactly the same in a Sport and non-Sport car, correct?

only difference in 325 motors are between pre and post face lift. the pre face lift 325 motors had a different (higher) compression ratio. all same generation sport and non sport are the same engine with different gearboxes

Yup, the motors are the same whether its a Sport or not.
As mrlee said, only engine difference is the comp ratio between the early and late 325i.
