How is the standard item removed? I can't see any clips or anything, is it just a case of 'peeling' it off?

Actually, some of the spoilers did come with clips. The original one that I recently took off my car had six clips that fit into the channel above the window, but the new one that I just received from BMW has no place to insert clips, so it'll have to be sealed on by a glass shop.
