i recently renewed mine it is inside a cover half way down the passenger side sill its an awkward job -well mine was all the clips on the hoses were rusted and the hoses were perished .
here is what i done .
1. jack up rear wheel to improve access & remove plastic cover using 8mm scoket
2. try to remove the clips etc and get fustrated and cut the hoses to removed filter
3. get covered in petrol
4. using junior hacksaw gently cut the 6 clips off
5.renew hoses with 8mm petrol hose
6.install new filter
7.marvel at the condition of the old hoses .
8. no more petrol smells /leaks
hope this helps
