Hello people,

I need your help my vehicle a 325i auto which is overheating, before the overheating problem i have replaced the cylinder head & head gasket due to cylinder head being cracked.I suspect the radiator might be blocked due to when the head gasket was blown and mayo in the complete coolant system.I have taken the thermostat out but still overheating. When vehicle was running hot i touched the top of the rad and found n/s/f was very very hot and the o/s/f was hot.Can someone tell if i should replace the rad or try cleaning it out.
Also how can i check to see if the viscus fan is working.......

Many thanks in advance.......

Check the viscous fan, As the clutch may be worn. When it's just above half try and stop the fan (not with your hand). If it stops easy then thats your problem, If not post again.

PUT A THERMOSTAT BACK IN NOW, before you crack the head!
