Delay moving off from a standstill

Usually when the engine is cold, the as I release the clutch and floor the throttle, there will be a delay where the engine is barely at idle and the car will creep forward, struggling, then all of a sudden something changes and the engine guns through the revs, this happened in 3rd today aswell, changing up it hovered at 3k for a second and then surged up through again.

I posted a while ago about juddering under throttle at all speeds, and the Lambda sensor was diagnosed, is this likely to be the same problem?
