When refitting my suspension I had to damange all the front balljoints to get them off (damn 18yr old cars). I need a whole new set for the front. I need 2x Tie Rod end balljoint and 2x outer control arm balljoint.

The problem is BMW don't sell a balljoint for the control and want to sell me a whole new arm for £117 each.... no way can I afford to spend this much.

Can anyone find me the parts on EuroCarParts or GSF becuase they are not very specific on the website.

If you look at the parts category listing for your car on Eurocarparts.com, they're under SUSPENSION -> BALL JOINTS

Wishbones are about £40 per side from GSF/ECP, make sure you get the better quality items, personally, I wouldn't bother changing just the ball joints, but that's up to you.

I fully agree. It is not recommended to change just the ball joints. I found both sides with joints and both bushings for less than 150.00 on ebay. Granted, it's no better than stock........but she;s not a race car, either.....

You want any more at that price? If so, send me the money and your address, and I'll have them delivered straight from GSF.

Brian, I'm fairly sure Rob is located in the US, so that would be 150USD?

Wish people would make these things clear when they post.
