Dont know where i got that subject title from, anyway ive had a set of 2001 E49 ( i think ) 325ci rear shocks lying around for a couple of months now. Ive tried selling them on the bay a couple of times but no takers. Was out in the beast yesterday and was constantly reminded of the unclebucked top mounts in the rear and suddenly thought.......i wonder. Got home and commenced the "Back to the future retro fit" . They only went straight on! i was sooo happy. Whole job time 20 mins old shocks out new ones in. Feels great now and no fookin noises. Superb!

Aye they were slightly longer the new ones but not by much at all. Oh and they have M-tech stamped on them, just noticed earlier.
