My front shocks of a 325 cabrio are stuck!
I took all bolts & nuts off the wishbone but it still won't come off its place to allow the shock more movement!!!!
The steering rack bit has sthe nut half way off but can't go any further as the place for the allen key is rusted and worn (so i can't hold the bolt in place!)
Any ideas, suggestions would be very much appreciated!!
By the way I'm doing it from home so no compressors!!
Thanks
Can't get my shocks off??

you need to remove the track rod end nut (17mm) and the strut mount nut (19mm)
then use a ball joint splitter (scissor type) to lossen both.
then get a long pole and lever the lower wishbone downward while pulling the strut outward. (considerable pressure is needed)
once free, remove the 3 strut top mounts.
easy. lol

try putting a trolly jack under the ball joint part and jacking it up.
This will stop it turning a bit!

Put the jack under the track rod end and jack it up. This should put enough pressure on the joint to stop it spinning while you undoe
