whats it suppose to do, i heard it makes the engine sound mean and tough,

but

i put one into my 325i and its made my exhaust sound quiter, and it sounds like my manifold is blowing but its not as i have got it checked 3 times.

or do they sound like that?

well they are suppose to add bhp... i suppose its who's made it buddy, ive heard some say on here that they didnt notice the difference but then the ones in the zone shop are suppose to add 12-15 bhp i think, also proven

*EDIT*
They do make your system sound quieter but i think you will need to let it bed in... around a fortnight i thinks

it was custom made by powerflow, i did notice a little change in the acceleration, very smooth through the revs,
